The Standard model frames are identical to the Ultimate models, but have a single sliding door and are clad in the original proven Norfolk Greenhouses manner with flexible PVC sheeting (on a roll) and sealed with transtape. All models have a rear opening window.
Why change a good idea that has worked well for over 25 years.
This low cost covering is cheap, heat retaining, ultra violet stabilised, shatterproof, clear as glass and so safe. Can always be clad in semi rigid sheet any time in the future with an Ultra glazing kit.
University of Reading did a survey in 1991 and stated - “Greenhouses covered with plastic sheeting have advantages over glass glazed ones. The continuous cover eliminates draughts and heat losses which occur where glass panels overlap” Norfolk greenhouse customers have always proved that their PVC covered greenhouses are brighter and warmer than glass houses.
